Golden Butter Murals was born in 2024 by two longtime friends and artists, Kate Jones and Sarah Tyl. We first met while working in architecture (designing small-scale homes in Toronto), but it wasn’t long before we realized we wanted to bring our creative energy to the streets. So, we merged our artist names—Butterfax (Kate) and Golden Grunge Studios (Sarah)—and started Golden Butter Murals.
